Walnut piles up the points against Excelsior Charter

The Walnut Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Excelsior Charter on the road to the tune of 97-22. Walnut might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matches by 22 points or more this season.
Walnut's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cory Fluker led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Daniel Dai was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory (which was Walnut's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Excelsior Charter, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Walnut won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Mountain View is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
