Leading Memphis Rise Academy to victory were Ambren Tyson and Ta'Varreo Smith. Tyson went 11-for-18 en route to 26 points, while Smith shot 73% from the field on his way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Darius Gates, who posted ten points.

The win got Memphis Rise Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Compass - Midtown, their record is now 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Memphis Rise Academy will challenge University at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Compass - Midtown, they will venture away from home to face off against Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
