Basketball Recap: McCollum Comes Up Short

McCollum lost against Boerne-Champion back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The McCollum Cowboys took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boerne-Champion Chargers. The matchup marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McCollum's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Boerne-Champion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McCollum will challenge Southwest at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Boerne-Champion, they will take on Wagner at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
