Softball Recap: Fulton's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fulton). They blew past the Vaughn White Tigers 36-26 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Alexia Paniagua was a standout: she scored five runs.

Fulton's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Vaughn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Fulton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 21-3 loss against Triumph Charter on the 11th. As for Vaughn, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Valley at 2:30 p.m. on the 28th. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.11 runs per game on average), something the White Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
