Recap: Bradwell Institute Tigers vs. Greenbrier Wolfpack
There's no place like home for the Bradwell Institute Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Greenbrier 49-33 on Monday. Given Bradwell Institute's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Greenbrier is ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bradwell Institute to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janiyah Blevins, who scored 12 points along with eight steals. Blevins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Rogers, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Bradwell Institute's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for Greenbrier, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.
Bradwell Institute will face off against Ware County at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Bradwell Institute focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday. Greenbrier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
