Calvary Christian Academy's tough 58-33 loss to Chestertown Christian Academy on Thursday might stick with them for a while. Calvary Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Calvary Christian Academy players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyle Parks, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. JR Gillespie (HS) was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds.
Calvary Christian Academy bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Calvary Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they will take on Faith Baptist School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Baptist School is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
