Basketball Game Preview: Naches Valley Rangers vs. Royal Knights

The Naches Valley Rangers will challenge the Royal Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Naches Valley has struggled recently with seven defeats in a row, while Royal will arrive with nine straight victories.

Last Saturday, Naches Valley came up short against Deer Park and fell 47-36.

Meanwhile, Royal hadn't done well against Zillah recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Royal enjoyed a cozy 75-59 win over Zillah. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Leopards are ranked 49th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Naches Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Royal, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0.
