Barlow is 8-0-1 against Gresham since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Gophers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Barlow and four for Gresham.

Monday just wasn't the day for Barlow's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Catholic on Monday.

Meanwhile, Gresham also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 2-0 to David Douglas on Monday. While losing is never fun, Gresham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while David Douglas are ranked seventh).

Gresham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Barlow, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-3-1.

Everything went Barlow's way against Gresham in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Barlow made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
