Baseball Recap: Triad Takes a Loss

Triad managed to slip by Tecumseh the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 14-1 to the Arrows on Wednesday. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Arrows apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2017.

This is the second loss in a row for Triad and nudges their season record down to 2-14-1. As for Tecumseh, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triad will venture away from home to take on Southeastern Local at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tecumseh, they will take on Urbana at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hillclimbers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Arrows surely won't give up without a fight.
