Recap: Washington International Red Devils vs. Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets
The matchup between the Washington International Red Devils and the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets on Monday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. Washington International walked away with a 56-49 victory over Spencerville Adventist Academy.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was CJ Jenkins, who scored 13 points. Jenkins continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Reinhardt, who scored 12 points.
Washington International's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Spencerville Adventist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
Washington International will face off against Field at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Washington International has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Spencerville Adventist Academy, they will be playing at home against Living Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
