On Monday, East Providence faced Lincoln in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The East Providence Townies walked away with a 60-53 victory over the Lincoln Lions.

East Providence has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Lincoln, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
