Basketball Recap: Atchison County Takes a Loss

Atchison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy Ravens 84-34. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Ravens are ranked 150th).

Atchison County's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1.

Atchison County has already played their next match (against Jackson Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy, they will square off against Horton on Friday. Horton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
