Football Recap: Ramona Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Ramona Bulldogs came up short against the Scripps Ranch Falcons on Friday and fell 36-24. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Malachi Sayles had an outrageously good game for Scripps Ranch as he rushed for 169 yards and one TD while picking up 9.9 yards per carry.

Ramona's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Scripps Ranch, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramona will host Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Sundevils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Scripps Ranch, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christian at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
