Baseball Game Preview: Oasis Sharks vs. Aubrey Rogers Patriots

The Oasis Sharks will face off against the Aubrey Rogers Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Oasis will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against Gateway Charter on Monday. The Sharks put the hurt on the Griffins with a sharp 13-2 victory. The Sharks haven't had any issues with the Griffins recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Oasis, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.

Oasis might still be hurting after the 13-6 loss they got from Aubrey Rogers when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Sharks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
