Football Game Preview: Mundelein Mustangs vs. Lake Forest Scouts + How To Watch

Mundelein is 0-10 against Lake Forest since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Scouts at 7:00 p.m. Lake Forest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mundelein, who comes in off a win.

Mundelein headed into their last contest having not scored more than 13 points for four straight, but Waukegan let them put that streak behind them. The Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bulldogs 63-14. With the Mustangs ahead 35-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Lake Forest lost 31-6 to Libertyville on Friday.

Lake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Mundelein, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Mundelein came up short against Lake Forest in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 14-6. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
