Softball Recap: Northeast Bradford Victorious

Northeast Bradford proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 15) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Wellsboro Hornets 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 15th.

The team relied heavily on Orissa Gardner, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March.

Northeast Bradford's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Wellsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Northeast Bradford nor Wellsboro have any future games scheduled.
