Volleyball Game Preview: Pleasant Valley Vikings vs. Orland Trojans

The Pleasant Valley Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Orland Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pleasant Valley is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Oroville.

Pleasant Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Orland was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Shasta, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-16.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Orland, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.
