Baseball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Takes a Loss

Belton-Honea Path lost to Crescent on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bears lost 12-2 to the Tigers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belton-Honea Path saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Sargent, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Belton-Honea Path's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Crescent, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

While Belton-Honea Path had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
