Softball Recap: Pace Academy Knights vs. Drew        
        
		
             Pace Academy had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They never let Drew onto the board and left with  a   19-0  victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by eight  runs or more this season.
  Megan Wrigley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Pace Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Livie Lynch, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave  Lynch a new career-high in  home runs. Another player making a difference was  Lauren Kamin, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 2-for-2.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pace Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .824. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .318 or higher in 11 consecutive  contests.
 Pace Academy's win was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 19-4. As for Drew,  they are  on  a  46-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-22.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pace Academy will face off against Midtown at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Drew, they will challenge Mt. Zion at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
