SCISA AA Region II recap October 22, 2013

Will Lloyd and Andrew Singer provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Palmetto Christian Academy. The connection was good for 74 yards, the longest such play in SCISA AA Region II this season.

Northwood Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. The Chargers defeated Palmetto Christian Academy 51-32 earlier in the week.

Northwood Academy's dynamic duo of Lloyd and Singer proved to be unstoppable against Jim Daniel's team, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lloyd threw for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns and Singer had 117 yards receiving. Douglas Dwight helped Northwood Academy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 97 yards.

Dalton Kolodziej was a key player and the best on defense this week as Philip Keefe's team beat Palmetto Christian Academy. He pulled down 1 interception and forced 1 fumble.

He was 8-17 with 2 interceptions.

Ryan Roe was a beast in the backfield as Palmetto Christian Academy fell to the Chargers.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Northwood Academy takes on Heyward Academy. At the moment, the Chargers are in first, while the Rebels are in fourth.

Hilton Head Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in SCISA AA Region II this week by beating Heyward Academy, 45-14. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Eagles.
