Baseball Game Preview: Teton Timberwolves vs. West Jefferson Panthers

Teton is on a three-game streak of home losses, and West Jefferson an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Teton Timberwolves will be playing at home against the West Jefferson Panthers at 1:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Teton nor South Fremont made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Timberwolves came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-6.

Luke Nelson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, West Jefferson lost 9-2 to North Fremont on Wednesday.

West Jefferson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Perkins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double was Perkins' first of the season.

West Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Teton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Teton took their victory against West Jefferson when the teams last played back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 24-8 score. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
