Basketball Game Preview: Coleman Comets vs. St. Charles Bulldogs

Coleman and St. Charles are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Coleman Comets will head out on the road to face off against the St. Charles Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coleman will be strutting in after a win while St. Charles will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Monday, Coleman beat Calvary Baptist Academy 54-43.

Meanwhile, St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 51-21 defeat at the hands of Hemlock. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Coleman pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for St. Charles, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Coleman skirted past St. Charles 43-41 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does Coleman have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Charles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
