Recap: Navarro Panthers vs. Canyon Lake
The Navarro Panthers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Canyon Lake 54-39 on Tuesday. Given Navarro's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while Canyon Lake is ranked 451st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Navarro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tegan Harborth out in front who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harborth has scored at least 25% of Navarro's points. Another player making a difference was Sienna Kramer, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Navarro's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Canyon Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Fredericksburg the next time they take the court. Navarro will host Fredericksburg at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Canyon Lake will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
