Soccer Game Preview: Sahuaro vs. Thatcher

The Sahuaro Cougars and the Thatcher Eagles will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sahuaro's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Sahuaro came up short against Empire on Friday, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Thatcher made sure to put some goals up on the board against Tanque Verde on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Hawks out 4-3.

The victory got Thatcher back to even at 1-1. As for Sahuaro, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
