It's playoff time, and Valley Vista had no trouble coming through when it counted. They beat the Pinnacle Pioneers on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 68-45. The Monsoon have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

The win was the 14th in a row for Valley Vista, bringing their record for this year to 25-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.4 points. As for Pinnacle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-7.

Coming up, Valley Vista is taking a road trip to challenge Millennium at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Millennium has won 11 straight at home, while Valley Vista won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Pinnacle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
