Basketball Recap: Macon Comes Up Short

Macon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 52-45 to the Monroe City Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Panthers are ranked 95th).

Macon's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Monroe City, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

As of now, neither Macon nor Monroe City have any future games scheduled.
