Soccer Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Cosby faced off against Volunteer on Tuesday. The Cosby Eagles came up short against the Volunteer Falcons, falling 9-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cosby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Volunteer, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosby will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Volunteer, they will take on University School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Volunteer has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 27 goals over their last three matchups.
