Softball Recap: Spring Lake Takes a Loss

Unity Christian hit Spring Lake with a eight-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lakers lost 11-1 to the Crusaders. The Lakers have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Spring Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Lau, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Spring Lake now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Unity Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
