Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Wynot

There's no place like home for Wynot, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the O'Neill Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Wynot won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-21.

Wynot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenna Oligmueller, who had 11 kills and nine digs. Oligmueller has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 30 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Haley Wieseler, who had 23 assists and 11 digs.

Wynot's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. As for O'Neill, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Looking ahead, Wynot will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for O'Neill, they will venture away from home to take on Battle Creek on Tuesday.
