Lovett came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Westminster Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Leading Lovett to victory were Margaux Godfrey and Kate Kennedy. Godfrey had 13 digs and three aces, while Kennedy had ten assists and six digs. Those six digs gave Kennedy a new career-high.

Westminster lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Munday Tyrone, who had 11 assists and five digs.

Lovett's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Westminster, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Lovett and Westminster will both be playing Midtown the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
