Softball Game Preview: Stivers School for the Arts Tigers vs. Meadowdale Lions

The Stivers School for the Arts Tigers will square off against the Meadowdale Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses dating back to last season for Stivers School for the Arts and four for Meadowdale dating back to last season.

Middletown Christian hit Stivers School for the Arts with a nine-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-3.

Meanwhile, Meadowdale lost 18-2 to Belmont on Wednesday.

Meadowdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stivers School for the Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Stivers School for the Arts' way against Meadowdale when the teams last played back in April of 2015, as Stivers School for the Arts made off with a 15-3 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
