Bleckley County is a perfect 7-0 against Dooly County since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bleckley County Royals will take on the Dooly County Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bleckley County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Washington County get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Given the Royals' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Golden Hawks are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Dooly County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cook on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 7-3 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bobcats' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Cook with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angela Borrallas (2), Sophia Gracia (2), Eunise Reyes (2), and Emily Garcia.

Bleckley County pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those six contests. As for Dooly County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Bleckley County took their victory against Dooly County when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bleckley County since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
