Softball Recap: Ramsay Comes Up Short

Ramsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Leeds Greenwave. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 21-16 to the Greenwave when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Keleiloa Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Kennedi Nichols-Ford was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Ramsay's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Leeds, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11-1.

Looking ahead, Ramsay will challenge Carver Birmingham at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Leeds, they will host Moody at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Greenwave surely won't give up without a fight.
