Basketball Recap: Uplift Elevate Prep Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Keon Bergman and Sir Princeton Tasby

After a string of three wins, Uplift Elevate Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to the Summit International Prep Skyhawks 47-42.

Despite the defeat, Uplift Elevate Prep had strong showings from Sir Princeton Tasby, who posted 13 points and six rebounds, and Keon Bergman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Uplift Elevate Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Summit International Prep, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uplift Elevate Prep will host Great Hearts Irving at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summit International Prep, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Hills Prep at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
