West Jersey - Valley recap Oct. 23, 2012

Allentown was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Nottingham. The Redbirds came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 34 last week.

Allentown extended the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Valley this week by beating the Northstars, 24-21. The win marks seventh in a row for the Jay Graber's team.

Allentown's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Redbirds feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nick Palladino has thrown for 1026 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Jake Lewis has 17 catches for 421 yards. Norman Williams leads the league in rushing with 861 yards.

Hamilton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,466 from 7,016. The improvement was the result of 35-28 victory over Hightstown last week.
