Softball Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo fell victim to Boulder Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 17-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Apollo and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Boulder Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Apollo will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Point at 4:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Boulder Creek, they will head out to square off against Mesa at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
