Basketball Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. East Forsyth Eagles

Reagan is 1-9 against East Forsyth since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Reagan Raiders will face off against the East Forsyth Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Reagan is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of R.J. Reynolds. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Raiders came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Demons are ranked 306th).

Meanwhile, East Forsyth played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against West Forsyth, falling 68-44. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for East Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

Reagan came up short against East Forsyth in their previous meeting back in January, falling 68-55. Can Reagan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
