Palisade barely beat Pueblo East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Palisade was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Pueblo East on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Garrett Draper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caleb Blanck, who scored a run while going 4-for-4. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kian Kinslow, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Palisade always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Palisade's record now sits at 2-4. As for Pueblo East, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
