Naugatuck Valley - Copper recap September 17, 2013

Sacred Heart lost to Wolcott 61-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Woodland Regional made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,844 from 4,319. The advance stemmed from a 46-19 victory over Branford last week.

The Hawks' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tanner Kingsley threw for 227 and 5 touchdowns and Mike Kenney had 100 yards receiving. On the ground Sean McAllen contributed 107 yards. Dylan Abaruza helped Woodland Regional's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 54 yards.
