Basketball Game Preview: Winter Haven Blue Devils vs. Berkeley Prep Buccaneers

Two dominant guards in Gavin Hall and Gabe Grimsley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Winter Haven Blue Devils will head out to challenge the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Winter Haven's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.

On Saturday, Winter Haven came up short against Vanguard and fell 64-57.

Meanwhile, Berkeley Prep waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 57-38.

Winter Haven dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Berkeley Prep, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Winter Haven might still be hurting after the 65-40 loss they got from Berkeley Prep when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
