Basketball Recap: Riverside Academy Comes Up Short

Riverside Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 64-12 loss at the hands of the Covenant Christian Academy Lions. The Rebels were probably out for revenge after losing 42-6 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Riverside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

Riverside Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-11 loss against Varnado on the 31st. Covenant Christian Academy has also already played their next match, a 52-16 win against Centerville on the 31st.
