Softball Recap: Central A & M Comes Up Short

Central A & M fell victim to Tri-City and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tornadoes. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raiders haven't been shut out since back in March.

Central A & M saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Roe, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Roe has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

Central A & M's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Tri-City, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-5-1.

Coming up, Central A & M will challenge Tuscola at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-City, they will face off against Lincolnwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
