Garner came out on top against Southeast Raleigh on Friday thanks in part to Christian Ormandy's efforts. Ormandy rushed for 62 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 110 yards while completing 73.7% of his passes. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2024.

Ormandy and Garner will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Smithfield-Selma at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
