* The Bears have had only seven first round draft picks in the past 10 years and have never drafted higher than No. 7 during that span, grabbing Kevin White with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2015 draft.
* The Bears did not have a first or second round draft pick in 2009 and 2010.
* Chicago has not had the No. 1 overall pick in the draft since 1947 when it chose Bob Fennimore. Chicago picks No. 11 this year.
* Chicago has chosen only two players from Illinois in the past 10 seasons, selecting Garrett Wolfe of
Guerin (River Grove, Ill.) in 2007 and Dan LeFevour from
Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.) in 2010.
* Chicago has chosen 12 former California preps in the draft since 2006 - the most of any state.
* The Bears last drafted a Heisman Trophy winner in 1995 when they took Rashaan Salaam with the No. 21 overall pick.
* Chicago's drafts since 2006 have produced 15 Pro Bowl appearances, topped by Devin Hester's four.
* CBSSports Mock Drafts peg Leonard Floyd, an outside linebacker from Georgia, as Chicago's top pick this seaso. Chicago has drafted nine Georgia preps since 2006.
* Rob Rang of CBSSports has the Bears choosing running back Ezekiel Elliott of Ohio State in his mock draft. The Bears have chosen a running back with their first overall pick four times over the past 20 years.
