Volleyball Recap: Fayetteville Comes Up Short

Fayetteville saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Poth Pirates.

Lainey Gromaski paced Fayetteville's offense, picking up ten kills. Gromaski got some help from Scotti Beseda and her 12 assists.

Fayetteville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Poth, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

After both having extra time off, Fayetteville and Manor New Tech will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Poth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Navarro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
