Softball Recap: Blue Eye Takes a Loss

Blue Eye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Exeter Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in April.

Blue Eye's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Exeter, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season.

Blue Eye does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Exeter, they will face off against Crane at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
