After a string of six wins, Mercedes's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Weslaco East Wildcats by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since February 25th.

Mercedes' loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Weslaco East, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.
