Basketball Game Preview: Alpharetta Raiders vs. West Forsyth Wolverines

Alpharetta is 1-8 against West Forsyth since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Alpharetta Raiders will host the West Forsyth Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Alpharetta is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Forsyth Central, falling 55-29. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-56 heartbreaker at the hands of North Atlanta.

West Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Alpharetta, their loss dropped their record down to 0-22.

Alpharetta was taken down by West Forsyth 67-22 in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can Alpharetta avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
