Baseball Recap: Mt. Baker Comes Up Short

Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Sedro-Woolley Cubs, falling 8-2. The Mountaineers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cubs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Mt. Baker's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Sedro-Woolley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Mt. Baker will welcome Squalicum at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mountaineers are facing the Storm at the right time seeing as the Storm are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Sedro-Woolley, they will venture away from home to take on Glacier Peak at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
