The Patrick Henry Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Morse Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Patrick Henry extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Sylas Doan. The Patriots blew past Madison 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Doan, who had seven digs and seven aces. He has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 38 times he's played.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 28-26, 26-24.
Morse not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Kearny. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Komets: they've now won four in a row.
Morse walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.
Morse's win came from a few key players Patrick Henry will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Miguel Cobian, who had seven blocks and six kills. Jacob Frijas was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.
Patrick Henry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Morse, their victory bumped their record up to 18-15.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Patrick Henry has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Morse struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Patrick Henry took their win against Morse when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
